1. Scope of services

ChinaRetailDesign provides retail space design, China supply-chain coordination, and store-opening advisory services to overseas supermarkets, convenience stores, and fresh-food retailers.

This page sets out the basic terms that apply when you use this site and our services.

2. Enquiries and quotes

Enquiries and initial discussions through this site are free of charge and do not create a contractual obligation for either party.

The specific scope of work, deliverables, timeline, and fees are governed by a separate written contract signed by both parties.

3. Design work and intellectual property

Until the agreed fees are paid in full, intellectual property in the design drawings, documents, and related materials we provide remains with ChinaRetailDesign.

Once the fees are paid in full, the client receives the right to use the agreed design deliverables within the scope set out in the contract.

Neither party may use these materials for purposes outside the contract without written permission.

4. Third-party suppliers and equipment

We help clients connect with Chinese equipment factories that we have visited in person. The purchase relationship for equipment is between the client and the factory; we provide selection advice, sourcing coordination, and project follow-up.

Responsibility for equipment quality, delivery, and warranty follows the contract between the client and the factory. We assist with communication and follow-up.

5. Limitation of liability

We provide our services to a professional standard, but we are not liable for delays or losses caused by inaccurate information supplied by the client, or by events beyond our reasonable control.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees the client has paid for the relevant service.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version takes effect on the date it is published, and the update date is shown on this page.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
